Williams de Broë’s latest annual investment publication, Vision 2010 has been released and is available on the ‘our literature’ page. Remarkably 2009 was an exceptional year for both equity and bond markets. We look to 2010 with a sense of relief that the worst appears to have passed, but with a sense of caution as we move further into the unknown. With the global economy on a knife edge, the challenges and opportunities for investment managers have rarely been greater.

Evolution Group Plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Philip Howell as Chief Executive Officer of Williams de Broë Limited. Philip joins Williams de Broë from Fortis Private Banking where he had been Regional Chief Executive. Hi appointment will take effect from early 2010.

Williams de Broe were awarded a FIVE STAR service award at the Financial Adviser magazine awards dinner. The Service Award is the biggest award of the night and is an independent poll of 10,500 advisers who took part in the voting, the biggest single poll in the financial services industry. The Financial Adviser magazine rates this award as the ''..benchmark for service standards.''
